I mentioned this cropped jumper in my sneak peak of my spring capsule wardrobe and how I am looking forward to styling it better this year.
This cashmere jumper was my first ever purchase of cashmere. I got it on sale, but even then it set me back quite a pretty penny. I figured though, if I was going to invest in a good jumper, then it should be a good jumper, know what I’m sayin’!
Since then I’ve found other places that stock beautiful, ethical, and sustainable cashmere at a fraction of the price I paid for this one, but I’m still glad this was my first.
Its colour is the most delectable, solid, berry toned wine, and the boat neck is really flattering with my sharp little chin.
What I struggled most with was the cropped body of the jumper; I’m more of a long length kinda gal, and I just could not wear this jumper without feeling like I purposefully bought it 3 sizes too small to show off my tummy-tum-tum.
Like I mentioned previously, I’m going to try and wear this with high waists to counteract the boxiness of the piece, and see if I feel a bit more put together and purposeful. It certainly looks good with both shades of denim, and the skirt gives an overall kind of preppy-without-being-a-cheerleader vibe.
