I’ve just started binge watching a new series on Netflix and completely forgot I hadn’t scheduled a daily post for the 10×10 office wardrobe challenge!
It took a while for these wool pants to get to me after I ordered them, otherwise you might have seen a bit more variation in earlier outfit posts.
However, I am already so in love with them. They’re made from 100% merino wool, are very generously cut in the leg, and feature belt hoops and decently sized pockets.
They are, however, very long on me. I’ll either get them hemmed or attempt to do it myself. I might also try to get a bit of the leg width pared down so I can claim back a bit of leg shape, with will help elongate my overall appearance.
This particular navy pair will replace the pair I’ve been wearing since 2012.
I’ve always preferred navy trousers to black. Probably due to my general aversion to black, but also because it reminds me too much of the Chamber Choir uniform we had to wear in high school when we were performing.
Anyway, this golden hue paired with navy is just lovely colour wise.
Structure in the pants plus structure in the top equals a pretty fab combination, and you really can’t go wrong with trousers plus shirt in terms of put together appearance.
On a completely different note, please excuse any odd shading you see on my arms. My eczema has flared up again and is having its moment in the spotlight.
