Here’s another winning combination to kick off outfit 6 of our challenge.
Instead of a shirt, as in outfit 3, I’m using a lovely silk tee.
The tee falls nicely and flatters the general silhouette, proof that this style formula, while a bit predictable and unglamorous, is still very versatile.
It’s surprising how much of a difference in image a crew neck can give compared to the collar on a shirt.
Yet this outfit still feels completely separate to outfit 3, and all I did was replace one element in the equation.
I’d probably wear this more than any other combination because I don’t have to fiddle with any buttons or zips – everything is pretty much pull on and go.
Actually there is one button at the back of the blouse, but on days where I really feel that coordination is an issue, I’ll leave it undone and just hope the cardigan covers up any evidence of my slothfulness.
