You’ll have to excuse the crumpled shirt. As well as being highly suggestible, since hitting adult-hood I am also now highly lazy.
I never used to be like this; I always ironed my school uniform when I was a student. Nowadays however, I’m very much team ‘eh, whatever, as long as it doesn’t have stains on it’. That or the husband will kindly run some steam over any bits and bobs of mine that end up in his ironing pile.
I know, right, where can you get a laundry-doing, irons-his-own-shirts husband? Dunno; this one’s taken 😉
Both the shirt and the pants are silk (Grana silk to be specific), so there is a lot of drape going on.
To try and contrast that, I’ve teamed the outfit with a proportionate and structured cardigan to give a bit more of a purposeful vibe. Without the cardigan, I feel like I’m working the daytime pyjamas angle.
Comfort level is out of this world, thanks to the silk and elastic waist of the pants.
The only thing I have to be careful about is when I eat my lunch and not dropping food on myself. If you’re a bit of a messy bessy when it comes to that glorious hour known as lunch time, then you might want to avoid the silk-silk combination.
That or wear a napkin bib.
And yes, I’ve taken to that in the past.
