Some days I just can’t be bothered pairing one thing with another.
It doesn’t happen often because let’s face it, pairing something with something isn’t rocket science, but I’m sure everyone’s had those days where they get up in a fog – bad sleep, late night etc – and you just want to wear and go.
This is where having a dress (old from Uniqlo; similar here) comes in handy.
I haven’t worn this dress many times I’ll admit, but whenever the warmer weather rolls round I always take it out for that season’s capsule.
Yes, it’s another shirt dress. I like the collar, the tie-your-own-waist, and the airy nature of the linen. The collar also means the dress pairs well with jumpers or cardigans. There’s something about that extra structure framing your neck and chin that just says ‘trust me, I know what I’m doing‘
Added bonus, this dress has pockets! Anything that increases practicality always gets a plus in my books.
This one pairs equally well with boots or flats, so I can still use it in the cooler months paired with leggings and tall boots.
