Welcome to the first wedding I shot of the New Year! I sent the final photos to Adrian and Barbs earlier in the week, so I can show you a few of his pictures on here now.
I know Adrian in the best of Tasmanian ways – through his cousin, Marina.
Marina and I went to high school together, lost touch over college but then reconnected at uni because she was dating a new friend I had made in Japanese class. Through her, I then met Adrian.
See, 2 degrees of separation.
Adrian and Barbs went for a really intimate and familiar feeling wedding, making use of the lovely Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens for the ceremony, and then having a great little cook up at the Derwent & Mercantile Collegiate Rowing Sheds just opposite. Several different types of paella for dinner, cooked fresh on site, and then an amazing array of cakes for dessert. The wedding cake was chocolate mouse made by the bride at 4am in the morning, and was the best wedding cake I have eaten in a while.
Thanks so much for trusting me with your photos and letting me be a part of the day, Adrian and Barbs!
